
Parks & Gardens
It is the oldest park and we can call it "the historical green area" of the city, place where a lot of generations of citizens of Marbella looked for recreation and rest throughout centuries. It is nowadays a botanical garden.
Avenida del Mar
It links La Alameda and the Promenade. Its area is decoraded with fountains, pergolas, gardens and a collections of Salvador Dali sculptures. This collection has 10 sculptures designed by Dali and cast in bronze by Bonvicini in Verona.
La Constitución
Its dense vegetation, its nice garden, the children's playground and its small astronomic observatory become it the favorite place for who want to look for peace. It has an auditorium where there are concerts and play during the summer. It has also a bar.
Arroyo de la Represa
A previous stream riverbed, currently covered, has become a wonderful place where there are two artificial ponds, sport courts, sport hall for high performance rithmyc gymnastic, children's playground, a restaurant and the bonsai museum. All of this flanked by huge stone walls as the remains of the Moorish casttle.
Pinar de Nagüeles
It is located in Marbella Sierra Blanca development. It has barbacues, tables, benches, fountains, youth hostel, children's playground, parking, gardens, paths, public services, entry door (the park is fenced), 2 bars, containers and baskets.
Vigil de Quiñones
It is a forest park which reproduces the native vegetation of the area.
The visitor can enjoy a wide sport place made up by a petanque court, a football field and a multipurpose field. There are also children's playground and a cafeteria.
El Angel Botanical garden
It is located in the old colony of El Angel (next to the Aloha College). Its main attraction is the richness and age of the species.
It has uninterrupted timetable because it is an open garden with lights.
