Spanish Contemporary Engraving Museum

Located in the old Bazan hospital, it is the first museum of its kind in Spain. It exhibits works of Picasso, Miró, Tapies, Chillida and other famous painters. Important temporary expositions of engravings are shown, and musicals and artistic activities are organized.

The Bonsai Museum

This museum exhibits a wonderful collection of beautiful miniature trees and forests, most of them are eager for their fame and centenary age.

It is deservedly considered as one of the best collections in Europe and also the best collection of wild olive trees in the world. Some of these olive trees are part of a great central staging with water, bonsai and statuesque rocks brought from Torcal de Antequera Natural Park.

History highlights interest in specimens as important as the Chinese "Almez" which belonged to the same Chinese family for 5 generations, or "Olivo Acebuche", an olive tree 300 years old.

Some bonsais are examples of nearby nature to Marbella, from whose hills miniatures of native species, some of them in danger of extinction as the Spanish fir, have been recovered.

Cortijo Miraflores Museum

Built by Mr Tomá Francisco Domínguez in 1704, it was known in those days as "Cortijo del Prado de San Francisco". It was a farm and it had a sugar cane mill and oil mill. The group is known as "Cortijo Miraflores" in the first half of the 19^th century. Its restoration started in 1999 and it was open in 2001.

The Museum has an archeological park (remains of a cave chapel dated from the 8^th and 10^th centuries), gardens (where are planted specimens of the begining of the 18^th century with others brought from the Philippines in 1850), the oil museum (we find in the building a complete mill for making the olive oil, objects related to the mill and a prickly pear press of the 17^th century), a temporary exposition room, the library of the image, a selection of the town heritage and an audiovisual room.

Ralli Museum

Ralli Museums are an international private non-profit-making organism. There are currently 4 Ralli Museums in different countries and the entrance to all of them is free. This charitable organization was created by the President of the Ralli bank group.
Ralli Museums are located in privileged places and exhibit important latinamerican and european collections. It exhibits surrealist works of art and others as well.
