Marinas

 
We must also mention our four remarkable marinas: Puerto Deportivo de Marbella , Puerto José Banús, Puerto Cabopino and Marina La Bajadilla. 

Puerto Deportivo Marbella, with 377 berths, is located in the centre of the city. It has a maritime club, a sailing school and offers the possibility to practise several water sports. It also has many restaurants. 

Puerto Marina La Bajadilla (fishing port and marina) is located in Marbella town, it has 268 berths and some fish restaurants.

Puerto José Banús is par excellence the largest and most famous marina in Marbella. Built in 1968 by José Banús, the property developer, it is the best yacht marina built in Spain. It is one of the most famous landmarks of the city, with 915 berths for all types of yachts and craft. It also offers visitors a wide variety of restaurants, bars, discos, boutiques, etc. The marina is in addition equipped with major nautical services and represents the first sports and pleasure centre of the municipality.

About 15 km. east of the town centre is the Cabopino marina, a picturesque and attractive harbour. It has 169 berths and also many restaurants, bars and shops.
